Oscar Suite of 100 stars

March 8, 2010, 3:09 am

About a month ago, I got an email from Anita Talbert about including my handmade clutches in the celebrity gift bags at the Oscar Suite of 100 Stars. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity and spent the next ten days working my ass off to get 55 clutches made. I took one night off to watch the Superbowl, and missed all of Mardi Gras. Cuong came over to help me on two of those days. The man has mad lint brushing and ribbon tying skills. For real. I’ll make a designer out of him yet.

The event was last Tuesday. I wasn’t able to be there in person due to my empty bank account, but Anita said that it went well and people liked the clutches. She sent me this picture of all the gift bag stuff spread out on a table:

I made the bags in twelve different prints and took a picture of  them all in a pile. The picture came out super crappy, so I’m not posting it. Don’t cry. I made a few extras for my shop. Find them in the clutches section.

I’ve also added two new shoulder bags. Find these in the shoulder bags section. Duh. Here’s a picture:
