If you haven’t heard, the Saints are going to the Superbowl! After the game, I sat on my porch listening to the screaming and honking and fireworks coming from all directions. It’s like we got an extra Mardi Gras. This will be the first Superbowl that I actually watch, and I cannot wait.
Here’s what I made while watching the Saints kick all the ass:
Those are handmade fabric roses. The first ones I’ve ever made. I just pinched the middle of a square fabric piece, twisted it until it looked rose-ish, and then hand stitched them to the bag. I like them a lot, but I’m going to try to flatten them out more next time.
Here’s a bird wallet:
This is the re-designed billfold pocket wallet. The card slots face the crease of the wallet, so that your stuff won’t slide out unless you want it to. The new ones don’t play music, but I think Cuong may have found a way to make that happen. More on that later.
I did make another pocket wallet, but it came out kind of wonky, so I’m keeping it for myself. No pictures of my wonky stuff. Not yet.
That’s all for today. I’m gonna go tuck myself into bed, where visions of Superbowl rings will dance in my head. Geaux Saints!
